Facility offered

ADVANCED S/W Laboratory (PG): This laboratory contains One IBM Server M3 X3200 and Twenty Desktops (core i3 & core 2 duo) and the server is connected to desktops with 32-port High Speed Switch and all these are connected with One Mbps VPN internet connection. Beside these laboratory contains two HP laser jet 1020 plus printer, one Dell Inspiron Laptop and EPSON Projector and the operating system used is Red Hat Linux Enterprise Ver 6.0 (License Version) [FORTRAN, C, C++, Java Compiler, MySQL, PHP etc. included]. All practical classes/demonstration are carried out through projectors.

S/W LABORATORY (UG): This laboratory contains Twenty Eight Desktops (core i3 & core 2 duo, Pentium etc.) and these are connected with two 16-port High Speed Switch (switch is connected with each other with one uplink).

The department provides computing facilities to students and faculties with updated Software’s and Hardware’s. The department is well-equipped with following laboratories:

One of the Desktop (core i3) is installed with Red Hat Linux Enterprise Ver 6.0 (License Version) and it is used as Linux server.

One another Desktop is installed with Windows Server (ver. 12) (License Version) and it is used as a Windows Sever and Oracle 11G server is installed here.

All remaining Desktops are installed with Microsoft Windows XP, windows 7 Ultimate & window 8.1(All are Licensed Versions). Each Desktops except Linux and Windows Server are installed with software’s like Borland C++ Compilers (Licensed Version), Visual Studio 6.0(Licensed Version), Quick Heal Admin Console 4.0, Microsoft Office Professional Version - 2007(Licensed Version),SSH Client Software etc. Beside these Twenty Desktops are installed with Oracle 11G client software’s and all these are connected Oracle 11G server via Lan and these all together provide all computation related to databases.

All Desktops are connected with One Mbps VPN internet connection (Wireless). Students and Faculty members may use internet throw Jio-net wireless network.

Beside these laboratory contains two HP laser jet 1020 plus printer, one Samsung ML2110 laser printer, one HP Laser jet pro M202dw wireless printer, one Dell Inspiron Laptop and EPSON Projector.

All practical classes/demonstration are carried out through projectors.
