Provision of departmental library apart from using general library.
Tutorial classes for those students who are not studied to follow the class teaching.
Provision for obtaining journals/ periodical purchased from different publishing institutes like Botanical society of Bengal, Journal of Indian mycological Society.
The department has been conducting remedial classes for weaker students, arrangement of special classes, interactive discussion, internal assessment, students’ seminars, exhibition, cultural programme, quiz competition, plantation programme, health consciousness programme etc for the students.
The department has been conducting annual field trips to different places to give the students a better field exposure. Besides these the department arranged Guardian meetings and reunion with ex-students and Alumni members.
Students also published a wall magazine.
