It is a great pleasure for the college to have been assessed
and accredited with the grade of B++ by NAAC which has declared
the college as One of the best colleges in West Bengal
with a lot of potential to develop. The academic performance of students
is becoming better day by day. The results shown
in B.A, B.Sc, Part I, Part II, Honours and General
courses, B.A, B.Sc Part II (Major), Post
Graduate in Microbiology and Electronics are
praiseworthy. Many students have been placed
in First Class in the Calcutta University. In
order to have a quality teaching in Post
Graduate study the college has formulated a strategy
to initiate a Research and Development Cell for
enhancing the need based research along
with basic research.
